Founded in the 1960’s, our name is a tribute to the original riverside farmland upon which our community was built. On the shore of Sanford Lake, our neighborhood is more than just a place to live—it's a place to belong. We believe in the power of community, where neighbors know each other by name and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
Our primary focus is on fostering camaraderie and mutual respect, without burdening our members with unnecessary rules or fees. We rely on the common sense and good judgment of our residents, guided by the existing county and township regulations, to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all.
We also join together to maintain our shared lakeside property. These treasured resources provide a place where everyone can relax, have fun, and connect with each other. Whether you're enjoying a quiet day on the water, participating in community events, or simply taking in the beautiful views, this is a place where you can truly feel at home.
Your Membership
If you are a new member, expect a visit from a neighbor on our welcoming committee. We want to meet you and introduce ourselves! Also, we want to be sure you are in the loop for future communications. If you have questions or are new and haven’t heard from us yet, complete the form below! All communications and notifications of meetings and picnics are sent primarily via email. You will also be notified when annual fees are due. This small fee of only $50/year allows us to maintain our shared community property and fund activities supporting the neighborhood.
